400 Hz Frequency Converter

A 400 Hz frequency converter is mandatory ground equipment for most modern jets. The 400 Hz power used in aircraft allows them to mount a lighter power generation system, but it also means that exposing any of the jet's circuitry to a different frequency (such as the 50 Hz or 60 Hz commonly used in power transmission on the ground) will destroy it. A power frequency converter allows you to transform the AC power in your facility into the electricity used in your aircraft.
